Mark Roman, Managing Partner of Veritas is responsible for the construction and management of our clients’ overall wealth management strategies. Mark has deep experience in asset and debt management, retirement and education forecasting, insurance matters, trust and estate concepts, investment taxation, and distribution strategies.
Prior to founding Veritas Boston Wealth Management, Mark enjoyed a career at Merrill Lynch for 25 years as Senior Vice President. He enjoyed a baseball career with the Detroit Tigers after graduating from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Mark now resides in Hanover MA and Newbury NH and is the proud father of 5 beautiful daughters.
Frank J. Perfetuo, Jr.
Managing Partner, Sr. Portfolio Manager
Frank J. Perfetuo, Jr., CFA, Managing Partner of Veritas with over 35 years of Investment Management experience. As our team’s Portfolio Manager, Frank is responsible for the research, design, implementation, and monitoring of customized investment strategies for client’s portfolios with a focus on risk management.
Prior to founding Veritas Boston Wealth Management, Frank spent 15 years at Merrill Lynch as a Portfolio Manager and First Vice President. He began his career as an Institutional Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President at Putnam Investments for 14 years. Frank graduated from Framingham State University with a major in B.A. in Quantitative Economics and holds an M.B.A. from Suffolk University. He now resides in Plympton, MA with his wife, Eve and their three children.
Kevin C. Dufault
Partner, Sr. Wealth Advisor
Kevin Dufault, is a Partner and Wealth Management Advisor, responsible for financial planning and overall wealth management strategies. Kevin focuses on cash flow forecasting and goals-based financial planning.
Kevin earned his Bachelor’s Degree from The College of Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Prior to founding Veritas, Kevin enjoyed a career at Merrill Lynch for five years. Kevin now resides in Boston, MA.
Jennifer Brennan, CRPC®
Director of Client Services
Jennifer Brennan is our Director of Client Services and brings 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Since joining Veritas in May 2021, she has built a reputation for delivering exceptional client service. In her role, she oversees all aspects of the client relationship—from onboarding and managing day-to-day requests to supporting long-term financial and retirement planning.
Before joining Veritas, Jen spent 9 years at UBS as a Client Service Associate. She began her career at Merrill Lynch, where she worked for 12 years in roles spanning Client Service, Administrative Staff Training, and Operations Management across a multi-office complex.
Jen is a graduate of Bryant University with a concentration in Business Administration and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. She lives in Pembroke, MA with her husband, Greg, and their three children—Matthew (12) and twins Julia and Ryan (9). Outside the office, Jen is often busy taking her kids to sports and activities. She’s also an avid dog lover and fosters for a local animal rescue.
Timothy J. Duggan Jr.
Wealth Advisor
Timothy J. Duggan, is a Financial Advisor, responsible for the execution of goals-based financial planning and business development strategies. Prior to joining Veritas, Tim began his financial career at Merrill Lynch in 2017 where he joined the Roman/Perfetuo Group as a Team Financial Advisor.
Tim graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in 2016 and earned his Masters of Science in Finance Degree from Fairfield University in 2018. During his time at Fairfield, Tim played for the University’s Baseball team. He now resides in Boston, MA.
Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) is an advanced professional certification for advisors who serve high-net-worth clients. It’s designed for seasoned professionals who seek the latest, most advanced knowledge and techniques to address the sophisticated needs of clients with a minimum net worth of $5 million. Unlike credentials that focus specifically on investing or financial planning, the CPWA® program takes a holistic and multidisciplinary approach.
Daniel Falcone
Wealth Advisor & Technology Specialist
Dan Falcone is a Financial Advisor responsible for Investment Reviews & Analysis and Financial Planning.
With 10+ years working with technology Dan is also responsible for implementing advanced technology platforms for both the team at Veritas and for our valued clients.
Prior to joining Veritas, Dan contributed his skills as a Business Analyst in Putnam Investments’ Business Intelligence Department.
Dan holds a BS in Finance from UMass Lowell.
Outside of work, he finds joy in practicing martial arts, rock climbing, and playing the bass guitar.
Lany Guillen
Client Service Manager
Lany Guillen is a Client Service Manager. She has been in the financial services industry for over a decade servicing both institutional and high-net-worth client relationships. Most recently, Lany served as an Associate Director at Artisan Partners, where she led complex institutional account onboardings and managed the day-to-day client needs. Earlier in her career, she worked at Windhaven Investment Management as a Senior Client Service Specialist supporting local high net worth clients, smaller institutions, and foundations.
Lany earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Simmons College. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she is fluent in Spanish and currently lives in Randolph, MA with her husband and son. Outside of work and family, she enjoys hiking, attending concerts, and serving on the board of her town’s local youth soccer association.
Daryl Marsden
Investment Advisor
Daryl Marsden brings nearly 20 years of industry knowledge to his role as Investment Advisor at Veritas. He is responsible for the research, design, implementation, and monitoring of customized investment strategies for clients’ portfolios, with a focus on risk management. Dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, Daryl works closely with clients to help support their financial goals.
Daryl began his career at State Street Bank as an accountant and auditor of corporate 401(k) plans. He further honed his skills during 15 years at Bank of New York Mellon in Performance & Risk Analytics, where he served as a Performance Manager working with institutional clients.
A graduate of Lasell University with a concentration in Accounting, Daryl earned his Master’s in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Boston. He lives in Hanover, MA, with his wife, Michelle, and their two children, Claire and Conor. Outside of work, Daryl enjoys cheering on Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins and Red Sox, and is an avid fan of audiobooks, music, and live concerts.
Marybeth Porter
Client Service Manager
Marybeth Porter is our Client Service Manager. She joined Veritas in December of 2022 and oversees the implementation of the firm’s financial planning and private wealth management philosophy. In her role, she works to enhance the ideal client experience and deliver ultimate service to our Veritas clients.
Prior to joining Veritas, Marybeth spent 23 years at Pipefitters Local 537 Trust Funds as both a Pension and Annuity Fund Benefits Manager and as Fund Administrator. A respected leader with exceptional collaboration skills and a positive attitude. Nominated by her peers in 2021, Marybeth ran for election and won a coveted spot to serve as Delegate in the 40th Convention of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States & Canada.
Marybeth graduated from Westfield State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and from Emerson College with a Master of Arts in Marketing Communications. She volunteers her time with various organizations including Father Bill’s & Mainspring. She enjoys children and offers her support to young boaters and sailors of The Squantum Yacht Club. Marybeth loves all animals and recently welcomed a new puppy, Louis, to the family. Outside the office she enjoys traveling, skiing, playing golf, boating, and spending time on the ocean with her family and friends.
Gayle Rosewell, CFP®, CRPC®

Gayle Rosewell is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® with 28 years of experience in the financial industry, serving as a trusted advisor and resource to many families. Gayle brings deep expertise to the Veritas team and continues to work with clients across generations—helping them grow and preserve wealth, manage tax strategies, and navigate estate planning with confidence.
Gayle began her career at Merrill Lynch in 1997. Before joining Veritas, she spent nearly a decade at UBS (2012–2021), where she focused on helping clients prepare for retirement and plan for their families’ futures. Over the years, she has specialized in portfolio analysis and design, balancing risk and return to support long-term financial goals.
Gayle resides in New Hampshire and has two children and three granddaughters. She enjoys staying active and participates in a wide range of physical activities, including running, biking, swimming, tennis, and golf.
